PORTABLE MACHINES
MMASS have developed a
number of machines for use as parts of portable systems. These
include the standard bronze tank cleaning machine which works as
well in the portable mode as it does when permanently installed,
the stainless steel machine and the 180 degree down machine. All
three types are fitted with Camlock connections which prevent
operators from exerting excessive pressure on the gearbox during
connection and disconnection from flexible pipework. They should
all be used in conjunction with a suitably designed strainer and
will work adequately when being driven by a high capacity
compressed air driven pump.
The specific advantage
of the MMASS machines is that all are capable of cycling the mud
itself, or else dirty water, which means that the same charge of
water can be used a number of times during the cleaning operation.
The stainless steel machine is lighter than the bronze machine and
therefore easier to move from pit to pit, the 180 degree down
machine only operates when the nozzles are pointing into the pits.
This prevents Pit Rooms being sprayed with water or mud if they
are not totally enclosed.
This is a picture of the MMASS stainless steel portable machine.
An extremely efficient machine in operation.
All these machines are
available to purchase or as part of a leasing or rental programme.
